Planet Of The Lost Souls

Planet Of The Lost Souls is a solo player small campaign. You are stranded on an unknown planet and have to escape. However, there is a timer and have to escape within 5 minutes otherwise you lose. There is also an unknown spices that is hunting you, so you have to be quick but stealthy.  

Player mechanics 

W = Walk

A= Left walk

S= Backwards walk 

D= Right walk

C= Crouch

Space bar= Jump 

Left shift hold= Sprint

Mouse= Look around

Left click mouse= Interact with letters and code door

Right click mouse hold= Pick up items

Enemy Ai 

• Enemy roaming, ai will roam around the map. 
• Enemy chasing, the aliens will start chasing the player once they are in their range of sight. 
• If the enemies collide with the player, the player will die. 

Gameplay mechanics

• Player timer, the player has 10 minutes to escape the planet, if the time runs out then they lose.
• Player key card. In the starting room to get out the door will not open unless the player collects a key card. 
• Player passcode for second door. the second locked door will require a code to open the door, if the player does not input the correct code the door will not open.
• The last door requires a DNA sample in order to unlock and open, after you find the sample and place it on the platform the door will open and once you go through you win the game  

Level design/map

• The map consists of three space stations that the player can travel to. There are invisible boundaries so the player stays inside the play area.
